Your teacher Shelley Divnich Haggert reads, writes and teaches in Windsor, and has been writing professionally for 20 years. She is known for transforming the day-to-day slog of 21st century parenting into hilarious, joy-filled prose as she raised her three daughters. As the former editor of Windsor Parent Magazine, she informed and encouraged a generation of local parents as they navigated area family life, and her work also appeared in magazines such as Today’s Parent, Canadian Family and Readers Digest. At the helm of the Hub Windsor Essex, one of the area’s first digital magazines, Shelley, along with an assorted cast of local writers, connected readers with issues and ideas of importance to area residents. Since 2012, Shelley has been teaching journalism and public relations students at St. Clair College how to work with the written word in all mediums and platforms. The author of Generation Xhausted (2004), she is now spoiling two young grandchildren and bragging about them on social media. Stay conneced with Shelley!
